Logo Contest

There was a competition for the project logo. Students had different views for the design. Some presented the logo as a sign of the project, some wrote texts, others presented it as a drawing, or  designed the logo as a combination of all these things. Students focused on the creation of the most attractive logo, which offers excellent features and identity of the project. Each school proposed a logo design and wrote a description. Then students voted and the logo of the Italian school was chosen for the logo of the project.

We celebrated 9th May - Europe Day

More than fourty students and teachers from the partner schools joined the online event and celebrated an INSPIR(E)ing Day.
It was an amazing international experience. We recalled the legend of Europe with the help of Ms Célia Morgado, enjoyed playing Kahoot, admired our students' presentations about Europe, Erasmus+ & the European Union and exchanged useful ideas for Europe!

Etwinning

Etwinning is our safe communication platform (chat-forum-online meetings)
between teachers and students, one of our digital project diary and archive which will promote our project to every interested Etwinner. We use it to meet visualy in order to exchange ideas and details for the organisation of our project and we try to upload all project materials like photos, presentations, important documents and videos.

COVID-19 era

Students express their feelings and thoughts

Through this activity we encourage our students to share how this pandemics has impacted their daily routine and personal lifestyle.

By Neliana Valcheva

Hold your breath and count to twenty eight.

Despite disasters, someone told me life is great.

Hold your breath and count to twenty nine,

chances are- sometimes we are in decline.

Here's thirty, you will be alright, caught up

once again in an outstanding sight.

Suddenly against all odds,

you'll finally manage to untie the knots.

So, press "undo",

rearrange the old and make it new.

A change of heart, cloud nine -

connect the dots and cherish every line.

/Noble aim/

Nelly says: I feel excited and eager to learn. After hard online work, I take some time to laugh and spend time with those who matter. If I have energy, I keep up with my work until I can and then hit the bed. I am not much of a sleeper. Pandemic has been quite emotionally exhausting for more than just one reason, but I usually figure out a way to laugh, create and share love.

European Day of Languages

26/09/2020

INSPIRE students and teachers started the new project year working on the preparation for the European Day of Languages. EDL is a significant part of our project activity plan. We aim to emphasize the important role of developing our language competences and to raise awareness of the importance of lifelong language learning for every student and teacher. Our mission is to encourage intercultural understanding.

Together we celebrated the European Day of Languages. Our students prepared presentations, posters, cards, learnt several words in a foreign language they have never learnt before and tried a few tongue twisters in English in order to celebrate the rich linguistic and cultural diversity,  boost foreign language learning in our schools and increase plurilinguism as a means of understanding each other better and overcoming our cultural differences . We reopened our project in Etwinning and we will upload every piece of their work there.

Our project INSPIRE focuses on the promotion of foreign language learning and cultural heritage of Europe.

Our schools represent 5 different European regions and we are from varied linguistic, geographical, social, educational, religious and cultural backgrounds and this is especially relevant to our project objectives.

Online meeting- 09.03.2021

It has been a year since we last met in Kalamata, Greece. We had great time but due to the coronavirus all trips and mobilities were canceled. To have team members motivated and inspired and to keep the project activities on track the coordinating school organized a virtual meeting in Zoom.

63 students and teachers from all partner schools (Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey) took part in the online meeting. We talked about the pandemic situation in each country, region, and school, how we coped with it, what changes it brought to the organization of learning/teaching at our schools and what difficulties we faced. Some students prepared presentations. We mentioned the advantages and disadvantages of the online learning, we exchanged thoughts and ideas about our future work and shared experience. We finished the meeting with playing Kahoot - Let's get INSPIREd and watched a touching video - Once upon a time in Arfara (GR). All of us enjoyed the meeting and had fun.
